Dear friends of Tamera,

Is there a future without war? Can we imagine how people will live together, in what kind of houses, in what kind of professions they will work and how their love relationships will be? The visualisation of a world without violence is one part of the Plan of the Healing Biotopes, and its success will be greater the more intensively people from all parts of the world take part in it. The real implementation of concrete future models, global peace education, network building as well as peace and healing actions at acupuncture points of the Earth are also parts of the plan which Tamera works on.

 “Be the Change - Youth for a Future without War“. The Summer University this year from 21st-30th July will be organized by the youth from Tamera. „Peace workers and active peace searchers of the world: Let's be realistic and do the impossible!“

New Weblog: Future without war. The IGP (Institute for Global Peace Work) started a weblog with texts and quotes from the books “Future without War“ by Dieter Duhm and “Grace – Pilgrimage for a Future without War“ by Sabine Lichtenfels, a current study blog in German and English for all co-workers for a future without war. www.future-without-war.com
 
Trip to USA: Sabine Lichtenfels, Charly Rainer Ehrenpreis and Benjamin von Mendelssohn have been on a three week trip to the USA to meet possible cooperation partners, media representatives and sponsors and present them the Grace Foundation - for the humanisation of money. The foundation now has its own website: www.the-grace-foundation.org.

Monte Cerro peace education: In May, a new study year is starting with an EDE course, which can also be taken seperately. The deadline for application is March 31st, please write to sarah.vollmer@tamera.org

Colombia: The peace community San José de Apartadó/Colombia invited international peace workers for a gathering in February. It is the third anniversary of the brutal killing of their speaker Luis Eduardo Guerra. Andrea Regelmann and Iris Bijou Lindstedt from Tamera have taken part and prepared the first training seminar of the Global Campus. More: www.tamera.org/?id=331 

Israel/Palestine: In the Tent of Nations a team from Tamera together with the Holyland Trust will give seminars for Israelis and Palestinians in April. This and more news on our website: www.tamera.org

Another highlight of the program is the Permaculture Practice seminar in June, where Sepp Holzer will be present for two days. More: http://www.tamera.org/index.php?id=360 
Spring in Palestine: The team of the PRV -- Peace Research Village Middle East -- founded in Tamera, has left for Palestine where they will give a series of seminars in the Tent of Nations (West Bank). Sabine Lichtenfels and Benjamin von Mendelssohn together with the Holy Land Trust will give courses on non-violence and community building for Israelis and Palestinians. Launch of the Global Campus in Colombia: Tamera's Colombia Team has returned from a trip to the Peace Community San José de Apartadó. They participated in an international meeting, helped build up a health station and prepared the first seminar of the Global Campus which will take place in October in San José. From the Solarvillage: The plans for a TTT - Technology Training Transfer Center - in Tamera are becoming more concrete. It is intended to be started in autumn with a first research greenhouse. Inventor Jürgen Kleinwächter will be in Tamera and will help with developing this technological education place. In April, a Scheffler mirror will be built in Tamera - as part of an intensive training time to which interested participants are warmly welcome. More: http://www.tamera.org/?id=370 
Be the Change: The Summer University of Tamera (21st - 30th July) is being organised and planned by a group of young people. Many amazing speakers have already been confirmed, it will be an intensive learning and community experience with regard to the further development of a movement for a free earth. Shortly after the Summer University the "Reboot-Now!" festival will take place in North of Portugal -- the keynote is knowledge for the future and sustainability. Co-workers and students of Tamera will be present and contribute their experience there. Tamera designer Martin Pietsch, known for his futuristic light architectural structures has designed a 1.5 km long event construction along the shore of the lake Reboot-Now is built up on. One more reason to spend
the whole summer in Portugal -- a summer of gaining future knowledge. More: www.rebootnow.org
